1) Who and What am I becoming?
2) Am I being what I say I believe in?
Today, we celebrated the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Today, beckons us to fulfill His Greatest Commandment.

This past week we entered into our new series entitled, “Being”. We began this journey by looking at the our busy and overwhelming lives as a college student. We go to a Christian school, however, it is often to easy to go about our days and never think about God…or when we do think about Him we are in the middle of something else and He becomes a passing thought.
We encourage you to pause and to take a few minutes a days simply to be still and know that God is who He says He is.
If you did not make it to this past Thursday’s chapel then please watch this video below so you can see where we are headed this semester.
As we turn our thoughts to finals and holidays let’s not forget to be the people God has called us to be.
God gives us the opportunity to do some great things in life! He helps us with times and places where we can make a difference in the lives of others. But we let things, situations and circumstances stand in our way because we don’t know how to get around them.
We may get lost in our journey. We may feel imprisoned by our secrets. But God’s love frees us and He redeems us even though we don’t deserve His help. So why don’t we figure out a way to help others become free from their pain and struggle.
Why can’t we be people of passion and people of action. Let’s join together next semester and figure out some ways to make a difference……and change the world around us!
You are becoming somebody……………so next semester, let’s be people of integrity, people of vision, people who passonatley change the world……one life at a time!

Take Communion to the World.
Last Tuesday we had a close encounter with ourselves.
Over the past few weeks we have encouraged you to take an honest look at yourself. Some of you took the opportunity to participate in a Community Art Project. This art project asked for you to write a secret on a card. Above is the video we ran before the service. The video includes many of the secrets that you turned-in to us.
The secrets above tell us many things. They remind us that we are human. They allow us to realize that there are people on our Campus that have gone through and experienced terrible things. They tell us that we all struggle. They remind me that we all mess up. They remind me of myself.
Somewhere in each of these secrets and in the person reading these words right now are two stories.
We hope as you view these secrets that you will find connection. Maybe you will see your own handwriting and the words you wrote. Maybe you see yourself in the writing of another. We are connected. It is in His brokenness…that we can find redemption.

**The idea of the secrets was inspired by a guy named, Frank Warren. Frank created an art project called, Post-Secret. It began with a bunch of post-cards and an address. Over the past few years and still to this day Frank receives thousands of post-cards with people’s secrets on them. Please click here for more information about Post-Secret.**
